Marc David Spengler (b. 1995) is an artist and designer based in Stuttgart, Germany. He studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart and graduated in 2022 with a diploma in communication design.
Alongside his independent artistic practice, he has worked with clients such as Hermès, Google, and The New York Times, Warby Parker and The New Yorker. He has collaborated with studios including Oddfellows, The Furrow and Studio Vierkant. His work has been shown in national and international exhibitions.
Balancing analog and digital approaches, his process blends hand-drawn intuition with the precision of digital tools. Drawing inspiration from urban visual culture, his work evolves from sketchbook explorations into colorful, modular compositions that explore varying degrees of abstraction. Across different projects, his visual language is translated into a variety of formats and visual contexts. A continuous search for balance, rhythm, and visual harmony lies at the core of his work.
He believes in the power of collaboration and values the exchange of ideas that comes from working with clients, studios and other creatives. He is open to commissions, collaborations, and creative projects.
